The Swampers waterfowl hunting was started in 2005 by Capt. Brian Rhodes, who was born and raised in southern Rhode Island. Capt. Brian started duck hunting at a young age and began eider hunting off the coast of New England when he was just a teenager.
Rhode Island holds thousands of wintering sea ducks, brant, geese, and puddle ducks as they migrate south from Canada, Maine, and Massachusetts. Southern New England is the final stop for many species of waterfowl on their winter migration, and Rhode Island is right at the heart of it!
Capt. Brian is a fully licensed U.S.C.G. captain with years of experience hunting and fishing the coastal waters of Rhode Island. His sea duck hunts have been featured on numerous television shows and videos as well as spotlighted in several national magazine articles.
